Welcome,

... to the mobile device web page. The intention of this site is to provide students and colleagues with teaching material and information to make their own application for mobile devices. As the platforms under investigation are already more than just mobile phones, we refer to mobile devices.

Main focus is on application with network support using GPRS, Bluetooth, Wireless LAN and WiMAX. As development platforms Python, Java 2 Micro Edition (J2ME), Symbian/C++ for Series 60, Windows Mobile and Linux are taken under consideration.

The research areas include new communication architecture forms, complexity and power consumption of the implemented software for wireless modules. We hope you find this site useful and constructive feedback is appreciated.
