Platforms

At the moment Mobile Devices has people working on three platforms, Series 60 (Symbian), Windows Mobile, Qtopia (Linux) and gumstix (Linux). Currently Series 60 is our main platform but we are dedicated to expanding our expertise into the areas of Windows Mobile and Linux. Gumstix is primarily used as a stationary platform for e.g. bridging.

We feel that diversity as well as specialization is important in a project of this kind. Specialization gives us the ability to implement new ideas as they appear. Diversity gives us the overview to always be aware of several platforms special abilities which could be nescesary for a certeain idea.
