Python on Mobile Phones

The idea behind Python for Serien 60 platforms is to simplify application development using a script language to make use of the Symbian C++ APIs. This approach alows quick prototyping and testing of so called proof of concepts. It is a viable option for research and small scale distribution, but not for the mass market.

This document provides information to install the Python for Series 60 Platform  on mobile phones and its related SDK. The document is intended to lead the reader through the whole installation process and gives an introduction, build the own Python scripts and standalone programs.
