Parksensor

The purpose of this project was to make an inexpensive car parking solution. This system would provide a sensor device on each corner of the car to help the driver parking his car close to obstacles.

 

The first edition of the sensor board, opensensor v1 was used in this project.

 

To measure the distance to obstacles an ultra sonic device was added to the board and the sensors were able to send these distances to a mobile phone via Bluetooth.
