Please note that you should bring your own laptops (Windows XP SP2) with the following software already installed:
- Python 2.5
- Series 60 Developer Platform SDK 2nd Ed. FP3
- Python plug-in for the Symbian SDK 2nd Ed. FP3 *
* To install the plug-in, just unzip the file "sdk_files.zip". Extract it in "C:\Symbian\8.1a\S60_2nd_FP3\". It will ask you to overwrite some files.....you just press "Yes to all"
Note: if you have Windows Vista installed, please download the following file:
Phones will be provided by us, but if you have a Nokia Series 60 phone, you can use yours.
If you have a Bluetooth dongle, please bring it as well.

Requirements:
If you plan to follow the exercises in Maemo programming please bring a laptop with VMWare. A dvd containing the SDK is given to the students attending the exercises. You are most welcome to install the SDK by our self if that is proffered. A guide to do so can be obtained here.
