Day 1, March 14^th

Requirements:

Please note that you should bring your own laptops (Windows XP SP2) with the folowing software already installed:

• Python 2.5
• Script Editor (SPE)
• Series 60 Developer Platform SDK 2nd Ed. FP3
• Python plug-in for the Symbian SDK 2nd Ed. FP3

Phones will be provided by us, but if you have a Nokia Series 60 phone,  you can use yours.

If you have a Bluetooth dongle, please bring it as well.

Day 2, March 21^st

Slides:

• J2ME architecture
• Introduction to J2ME programming
• Example and exercises

Requirements:

This is the software you would need to get started.Download and install the following files:

• Java SE Development Kit (JDK) 
• NetBeans IDE 5.5
  
• NetBeans Mobility Pack 5.5

The installation must follow the order in the above list. You need Windows XP SP2 installed. More information about the installation process can be found here.
